Registration
Registering for Temporary work is quick and easy. All you have to do is send us your CV by email
so that we have it on our system, and make an appointment. You will need to allow
approximately 40 minutes for the entire registration process. Our Temps Controller will give you
an application form to complete which will give us more information about your skills,
experience, salary requirements, availability and areas where you would like to work etc.
You will also complete a Health and Safety form and receive a contract which will explain the
status of your work with us. During the interview our Temps Controller will go through your CV
and discuss your skills and types of work you are interested in and willing to do.
We will explain about temping and advise you of the sorts of assignments we will have for you.
This interview is invaluable for both parties as our Temps Controller will want to get to know you
personally, your motives for Temping and your likes and dislikes so that we can confidently place
you in the right role. You also need to know and trust your Temps Controller and have confidence
that we know what you are looking for and what you want to get out of your Temping experience.
What to Bring with You
During the registration process we need to prove eligibility to work in the UK so please bring in
with you:
- Your passport
- If you don’t have a passport, an ID card or birth certificate
- Relevant work permit or visa
- Your NI number
We also require references so please bring in with you:
- Names and addresses, email addresses and other contact details of employment references relevant to the last 5 years. OR
- Any employment references written on company letterhead which we can copy and keep on file.
- Any other supporting documentation and certificates which relate to your qualifications and experience.
Now that we have you on our books we will ask that you keep your mobile phone on you at all
times so that we can let you know as soon as relevant temporary work comes in. Sometimes we
are under pressure to fill bookings very quickly so the more available you can make yourself to us
the easier it is to offer you work.
