Temporary Registration

Introduction

If you are looking to Temp or even just thinking about it, it is a very good idea to come in to our office and register. Many people in this current market don’t feel they have to register with agencies anymore as frequently they are offered temporary positions straight from the internet.

If you want to get regular Temp work and have a good relationship with your Temps Controller, the face to face registration is vital. You need to feel that your Temps Controller knows you and knows what sort of company to place you in. We as the agency want to know your personality, your interests and dislikes and preferences so that we are able to ensure that we choose the right temporary work for you.

As and when temporary assignments come in from our clients we have to fill them immediately. We can only offer temporary assignments to fully registered candidates who we know and trust so come in and join our register of candidates and be first in line when we are filling temporary assignments.

Please remember, you are under no obligation to accept any assignment if you don’t want to, and you can also come off our register whenever you want. Being registered gives you more options and it gives us the chance to offer you immediate work.

Registration

Registering for Temporary work is quick and easy. All you have to do is send us your CV by email so that we have it on our system, and make an appointment. You will need to allow approximately 40 minutes for the entire registration process. Our Temps Controller will give you an application form to complete which will give us more information about your skills, experience, salary requirements, availability and areas where you would like to work etc.

You will also complete a Health and Safety form and receive a contract which will explain the status of your work with us. During the interview our Temps Controller will go through your CV and discuss your skills and types of work you are interested in and willing to do.

We will explain about temping and advise you of the sorts of assignments we will have for you. This interview is invaluable for both parties as our Temps Controller will want to get to know you personally, your motives for Temping and your likes and dislikes so that we can confidently place you in the right role. You also need to know and trust your Temps Controller and have confidence that we know what you are looking for and what you want to get out of your Temping experience.
