HR Administrator – £20,975 12 month FTC

Our client based in Maidenhead is looking for a HR Administrator to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract and are looking for someone who is methodical, has a strong attention to detail and enjoys all aspects of office administration.

Reporting to the International HR Advisor, the jobholder will assist with HR administration and associated project work in respect of Africa and Asia Pacific Area (AAPA). They will have, ideally, worked with sensitive information and enjoy working as part of a team.

Occasional travel may be required within the UK and Europe, for which a valid passport is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general HR administration as required and support any departmental HR projects
  • Complete all electronic filing relating to HR, ensuring records are always up to date and accurate
  • Support the HR team with Recruitment, Onboarding, Learning & Development, Payroll, Performance Management and exiting employees
  • Raise and receipt purchase orders
  • Arrange for documents to be translated into local languages using the company’s vendor
  • Collate and check all monthly returns and input all relevant data on the database
  • Process monthly medical claims
  • Prepare all contractual letters of appointment, transfer, retirement and termination for all AAPA staff
  • Maintain the Area Office absence record
  • Monitor and maintain up to date records for all AAPA staff
  • Track the return of any outstanding information and documents Arrange meetings and appointments as required

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Working in an administrative capacity within a confidential environment
  • Navigating and updating a comprehensive data base
  • Using a HR Information System Essential
  • Working in an HR department in organisations with multicultural staff Desirable
  • Using Cornerstone software Desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • An intermediate level of computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Highly discrete and confidential
