Customer Service Administrator – £22k

Our client are specialists in process water and wastewater solutions. As one of the leading water and wastewater treatment companies in the UK, they have over 80 years of experience in helping businesses of all sizes with water purification, industrial effluent and sustainable water saving needs. Their full range of services also includes mobile water treatment, water treatment chemicals, laboratory, healthcare and water recovery systems.

They are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their team to track the timely receipt of the Service Engineer’s work reports and that they are invoiced in accordance with the rates applicable to the type of work carried out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow actions advised by the Service engineer on the work reports and advise appropriate person(s) within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Determine appropriate labour rate according to the work carried out applicable to the equipment involved.
  • Invoicing of work reports including relevant charges for labour and parts.
  • Processing orders on the business systems within the agreed timescales.
  • General administration.
  • Covering the telephones.
  • Supporting other departments as required.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • GCSE or equivalent English and Maths required.
  • Experience of having worked as an Administrator, Customer Service or similar role.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written, with the versatility to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrable experience of having built strong working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and the able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
